MESTREPOPEIA LDA. was founded in 2016 becoming part of the Cartago Group, expanding and operating in Portugal.

Currently MESTREPOPEIA provides services to IBERDROLA in the SE Tamega Project, being one of the largest hydroelectric projects carried out in Europe in the last 25 years. This complex is formed by three dams and three hydroelectric plants with an installed capacity of 1,158MW (increasing the installed capacity in Portugal by 6%)

MESTREPOPEIA participates in the construction of SE Tamega by providing Supervision and Inspection Services in the following areas:
- Quality Department (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)
- Technical Workshop Department
- Department of Topography

During this period we have an experienced team with highly qualified personnel from different nationalities who have already participated in other international projects together with Grupo
